Glass People

This painting was inspired by the idea that we are like glasses of water while we are alive which are poured back into the ocean when we die. Our fragile glass containers, which come in many shapes and sizes, separate us from each other. The glass people in the painting have peaceful expressions because they understand their connection to others and they know that they are all made of the same stuff — unified by the blues and greens of the ocean.
